I just found this on the first tree we were supposed to prune for BCH today. I’m going to be totally #honest with you, this is incredibly insulting. I feel like going home. My company is certified by the utility to prune to their standards. We complete this work with an incredibly low rate of deficiencies. We are a #SAFECertified company, which means we adhere to safety protocols above those met by almost every other local, “professional” tree service company. We are committed to providing the most professional service possible, with the best equipment using the strictest certification/training available in the industry. I am a Certified Utility Arborist (#CUA) with over 7 years of experience and, until recently, was an #ISA Certified Arborist for 9 years. I am dedicated to #learning and #innovation. We are #committed to our employees and are in the process of becoming “#LivingWage” Certified, something that very few companies in our area have achieved (or attempted).
We strive for excellence and professionalism in everything we do. Everything.
All of this and more, and yet, apparently we are not “#professional” enough to prune this customer’s cherry tree. The perception of our industry to the general public is pretty sad. I’m doing my best to change that, but man, this is a kick in the beets.
