Ground Worker – Entry Level Arborist – profit sharing & employee share ownership plan!

Job Position Description
We’re looking for a full-time Groundman – Entry Level Arborist to support our aerial workers (and, ideally, eventually become an aerial worker yourself). The requirements to work with Precision are as follows:
- You are a NON-SMOKER
- You have a valid Driver’s License
- You have an excellent attitude
- You want to grow your skills and advance your career
- You want to get paid better for doing better
- You can work shifts in the North Vancouver Island area, from Courtenay to Port Hardy and anywhere in-between
- You must send in a cover letter with your application
Steel toed boots are mandatory, all other safety equipment provided. No experience needed to apply. We actually prefer hard working applicants without prior experience so we can make sure to teach you to work with Precision from the ground up. Starting entry level, no experience wage is $25/hr and increases for experienced ground crew. As you grow your skills, your wage increases. When you get up into the trees, your wages climb with you. If you help us hit our profit target this can substantially increase your pay. Our “Skip the Praise, Give Us the Raise” profit sharing plan isn’t like the other guy’s – we run an open book business so you can see what you helped us earn. We will strive to give you every opportunity to build new skills, add qualifications, and get experience to move you up as quickly as possible.
